Welcome to Olifantsrus Campsite, the newest addition to Etosha National Park. Nestled in the remote and untamed western section of the park, this camp offers a unique camping experience that brings you closer to the beauty of the African bush.
Located approximately 60 km from Galton Gate, 130 km from Okaukuejo, and 50 km from Dolomite Camp, Olifantsrus Camp allows you to immerse yourself in the wilderness while enjoying the comforts of a well-equipped campsite.
In this secluded part of the park, you’ll have the opportunity to encounter rare and elusive species such as black rhino and black-faced impala. The tranquility of the area provides a raw and authentic bush experience.
One of the highlights of Olifantsrus Camp is its state-of-the-art double-story hide overlooking a man-made waterhole. This hide offers unparalleled views and is particularly popular for observing elephants, which inspired the camp’s name.
Aside from the exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, the campsite offers a range of amenities to enhance your stay. An information center provides valuable insights into the park’s ecosystem, while a kiosk offers refreshing drinks and light meals. A communal kitchen and well-maintained ablution blocks ensure your comfort throughout your stay.
