The vision statement of the Etosha conservancy is: To maintain and improve the conservancy’s natural resources for
sustainable use to benefit its members and the community.The Etosha conservancy has its northern boundary on Etosha National Park and the southern boundary to the Paressis Mountains
located south of Outjo.
Consisting 52 members and with a well-laid out Management Plan, the Etosha Conservancy has set itself the following objectives to reach their goals in
conservation:
1. To maintain commercial farming alongside wildlife
2. To develop sustainable commercial activities to generate income.
3. To maintain and improve the habitat for
the benefit of the flora and fauna
4. To protect endangered species and identify, list and maintain national heritage sites
5. To promote awareness and active participation within the
conservancy
Our logo depicts the Damara Dikdik Madoqua kirkii. It is the smallest antelope in southern Africa, endemic to Namibia and has a restricted distribution only
occurring in the north-west.
